Donut holes, The raw way! Delish!

Recipe

  • 2 C Brazil Nuts (trader joes )
  • 1/2 C Oat bran ( I got mine at trader joe's
  • 1 C oats ( I used my almond pulp this time)
  • 1/3 C Coconut Oil
  • 1/3 C Maple Syrup (I used honey) you could even use agave

Chop Brazil nuts in food processor until fine. Combine dry ingredients in a bowl. Combine wet ingredients, mix together and then add to the wet ingredients. Stir. Squeeze into balls. Roll in organic sugar and cinnamon mixture and refrigerate.

Topping:

  • 1/3 C organic sugar
  • 1 1/2 t. Cinnamon

I got this recipe from here, but i changed it up a lot. It was really good. Turtle LOVED it! Actually all the kids did except 1.

Am I reading this right? The title says donut holes but there is no frying?!? You have got my attention with this one! I love donuts but I cannot tell you the last time that I have had one because of how bad they are for you. I will definitely bookmark this recipe and give it a try.
