We made these"fish" on one side they have a letter. When she catches it I ask her what letter it is and what sound it makes. I'm going to introduce 4 letters a week and rotate until she knows all Her letters and sounds. She already knows about 10 letters and sounds. This was very easy to make:)

that is so cute!!! You could put magnets on one side after she knows all of them and let her 'fish' for them with another magnet.
they all have magnets on them already and she has a ploe with a magnet attatched so she can fish them off the ground
